pictures of fun with the boys

Vitaly and Soccer ball tricksThe kids always ask for gum when we go. I think Vitaly is looking for the Ipod. The purse rule is coming up soon.

We have to be creative with trying to exercise here. It is not really important in the culture. I have not seen a gym or even a jogger in all of Ukraine. They weren't really lifting very much weight with Oleg, but he enjoyed it.

Outside the church in Dnepro the big city.

  1. That last picture is in Dniproprortrosk by the church? Isn't it?
I love the bench weight! It looks like he loves it too!
On that second picture it looks like kids are rummaging through your purse? That must have been before the family rules were established?
    Sonya posted! Hurray!
I hope you got your papers at the SDA today and you'll be on your way back to Dnipro tonight. Enjoy that train ride. Did you bring any Ambeian? (I don't know how to spell that.) I'm not a drug taker but did take one for the night train and ohlala....it was heaven! (Although I did dream I was eating pistachio's-just shoving them in my mouth as fast as I could open them-the next morning I asked Alex where the pistachio's were? He pantomimed back to me that I ate them all. Hum....guess that wasn't a dream but it sure felt like it!)

  2. Great pictures. That last picture is so cute. I think that is the first picture we've seen with Alina's hair pulled back. They all look happy. Hopefully this wraps us soon and you can get back to the region again.

Keep your chin up, and keep a smile on. This too shall pass, and as someday you will look back and smile on this all, through tomorrow's eyes of course. :)

  3. I see Alina there in the last picture. Any developments on her? I think you're so lucky your son is with you. It looks like he is really bonding to the kids.

  4. Okay, I see that you wrote about Alina. I just didn't read the older post. How did I miss that? I've been watching like a hawk.
