  1. Cute pictures!
Okay, if I could send you a map to TGIFridays, I would. It's on a mainish street. It was quite a walk from the SDA shopping but we did walk it and it was well worth the walk!
Oh, I can't imagine the smell on the bus! I kept telling myself I was glad I was there in the colder months as I'm sure the ripeness of some of the bus patrons really would have made me barf-or at the least dry gag through the whole ride!
Once back in Dnipro here are some ideas:
My favorite-and inexpensive-is get a pedicure! It was the most relaxing pedicure I have ever had as I wasn't expected to make small talk! I think my pedicure was $8. (It's behind the potato house on MY side of the river-where the city is. Oxana knows, she goes there and can set you up an appointment!)
There is also a movie theater right by the same area-it looks so creepy and stinks like smoke until they let you into the theater. It's clean & HUGE and rather nice but FREEZING. Bring a blanket.
Too bad the circus isn't in town. That was a treat-complete with trained raccoon's porcupines and drooling camels.
Swimming-as I mentioned before but everyone MUST have flip flops. Weird how Ukraine's don't care too much about the rest of the body being covered but they're strict as Stalin on wearing flip flops to the pool!
Okay, that's all I can think of for now.
I'm glad your menfolk are good travel companions. My man would have probably been in a street fight by now-he was so tired of being glared and stared at.
    Love,
    Your lurkiest lurker.....W

  2. Oh man...I think Oleg is ever so angry with us because we couldn't take him out of the orphanage with us today. Tell him I am sorry, but we can only take Igor and you guys have to take him out. Anyway, we got some ice cream and candy for all the kids at the orphanage and he refused to take anything (which seemed out of character for him). So I think that was his way of showing us he was mad.? Vitaly was fine and smiling and saying "hello Sonya" as usual, but Oleg seemed miffed.

Irina Director wants to have dinner with us at the orphanage on Monday right after court. Around 3:00 she said. And if you can't on Monday, we will plan Tues.

I hope that you are moving forward with the paperwork there. How frustrating to repeat this ridiculous process twice!! Arrggghhh! I don't blame Dave for being completely fed up.

We miss you guys! Oh, and the cast is off and other than a big cut where his thumb meets the forefinger, things look ok. They are so pathetic there, they didn't have any instruction for him other than to "put cream on the skin". However, they didn't give him any or tell him what kind. I gave him a rubdown with neosporin. What a joke. Of course, they won't let us leave with him for lunch anymore because they are tryint to act "official".

We miss you guys!!! We hope you will be back in lovely Dniprodzerzhinsk soon :) Call me tomorrow if you can!
