Hradec Kralove

We stopped in a beautiful town named Hradec Kralove where Joe served on his mission. We walked around and had fried cheese sandwiches (a specialty here) for dinner and then went to the church to meet some of Joe's friends from his mission. It was great to hear their stories and about their families and about life in the CZ Republic. The thing that they remembered most about communism was only have one choice for brands of food at the grocery store. Our guide in Russia said the same thing. That people would wait in lines for hours and then only be able to buy o loaf of bread and one kind of butter etc. It was a dark time all over this part of the world. Here are some pics from Hradec Kralove.
